When we value each person’s strengths, collaboration is possible.

How We Live Out Collaboration

Bridging to Belonging

The Bridging to Belonging program exemplifies the IFLC’s commitment to collaboration. It uses storytelling, listening, and group engagement to build trust and foster a sense of belonging. In groups of 6-8 people with a moderator, participants share stories, explore values, and engage in dialogue to learn from each other.

Religious Diversity Journeys

Religious Diversity Journeys showcases the IFLC’s dedication to collaboration by facilitating interactions between children and diverse religious groups in Detroit. Through visits to various faith communities, the program encourages dialogue and understanding. Faith leaders and educators work together to provide an inclusive experience, fostering inclusivity, empathy, and cooperation.

Interfaith Health Equity Partnership

The Interfaith Health Equity Partnership highlights the IFLC’s commitment to collaboration by promoting healing and well-being across all faiths through healthcare. The committee aims to ensure everyone, regardless of faith, receives the healthcare they need.

Education Committee

The Education Committee brings together educators, multifaith clergy, and individuals passionate about inclusive education. Through events that bridge cultural and faith differences, it promotes mutual understanding and respect. By teaching various faith traditions and creating spaces for interfaith interactions, the committee fosters meaningful collaboration to unite communities.
