Music of Our Lives

WHAT:

Delta Chats will host “The Music of Our Lives,” as a celebration of how music shapes our civic hearts.  This online event will feature local musicians, be a mixture of music and dialogue, and have the takeaway goal of creating a community-developed “Songs for Civic Inspiration” playlist to reflect the “civic vibe” of the area.

WHY:

Music is an important part of community cohesion and an excellent way for people to connect in shared humanity!  Music has the power to transcend real and arbitrary differences through the simple acts of listening to and sharing our stories about the music that has enriched our lives.

WHO:

Since this is an online event, local, regional, and national attendees are welcome.

WHEN:

Monday, April 15th from 3:00-4:00 PM EST
